Every day, thousands of people go online to make money, but most of them fail miserably because they truly believe in one or all of the 6 Internet marketing myths. You can read them below and discover the grain of salt in each of them.
Myth No. 1: Internet Marketing Is Easy
This is probably the biggest myth of all and lets me tell you that internet marketing is difficult, it takes time, effort, not to mention money, and anyone who suggests otherwise is trying to sell you a lot of horse hockey. Sure, it's relatively easier to work with brick and mortar because there's no inventory to carry, no shipping, no sales staff, and virtually no overhead, but there's still a lot of work to be done.
Myth No. 2: Anyone Can Make Money Online
Folks, this is simply not true. Unless someone gets up from their chair and downloads / reads everything they can about internet marketing and puts a plan of action in place, they will never make a dime online. DO NOTHING, DO NOTHING.
Myth No. 3: You Can "Become Rich Quick" Online!
This is the trap many novice internet marketers fall into, including me when I started, why? why do the scammers make it look so easy to let me tell you that pursuing the "get rich quick program" is a WASTE OF TIME, MONEY, and ENERGY. It just won't happen overnight, but do some research and find out what people really want and need and then most of all give them a sense of reality.
Myth No. 4: Doing Business Online Is Free
This is one of my favorite myths because I believed it in my first year of Internet marketing and it wasn't true then, it's not true today. Compared to opening your first coffee shop or gift shop in downtown Los Angeles, the cost of starting up and maintaining an internet business is quite low. Once your domain is set up, you only pay for the internet connection, advertising, and continuing education, that's it. You can't expect to make money by selling free stuff and asking others to do the same. boys! money is needed forearm money.
Myth No. 5: It's Too Late To Start An Internet Business
Most Internet marketers would love to hear people say, "It's too late, there are too many competitions, I should pack my bags and go home, the Internet is too complicated, etc ...". Do you know why? The fewer people have to compete, the better, which in turn will make them more money.
The fact is, it's never too late to start anything and that includes Internet business. I strongly believe that the internet is not going anywhere and you should too. Each year, the stats will show you the number of people buying
online are increasing, your spending dollars are increasing, and the number of people connecting online is also increasing.
Myth No. 6: Big Money Talks Are Extension Only
As I told you before, "Does it take money to make money?" Well, that's true, although it will be hard to find internet marketers to know how much they spend on promotion and advertising. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to find the truth in every exaggeration you read. As a matter of fact, people who make a lot of money online also spend a lot of money on advertising, tools, resources, and know-how to get the job done.
If you are willing to take the steps necessary to make "big money", you will. Takes time. You can criticize, be skeptical and be sure that "big money" can't and won't happen to you. Sit down and write a solid business and financial plan. Your local Chamber of Commerce can provide you with all the information you need to get started.
If you think you will succeed, you are right, if you think it will not work, you are right too. Long story short, you've heard the story of people about how they are making their fortunes on the internet and how easy it is, but the reality is that some stories are NOT out of this world or unrealistic, they just don't happen overnight. . you alone.
